Vienna Exhibition - Nov 2018

An exceptional moment, November 5-12 2018, as ZS Art Galerie in Vienna presented Listening to the Light, an exhibition featuring more than 20 artworks from Robert Leprohon in the context of Austrian contemporary art, presented by Curator Günther Oberhollenzer.

Curator of Landesgalerie Niederösterreich, art historian and writer, Günther Oberhollenzer made a remarkable opening speech marking the connection between Canadian artistic movements and the well-known Austrian artists also featuring in this exhibition Marc Adrian, Karl Hikade, Edgar Knoop and Leo Zogmayer. Oberhollenzer referred to the Quebec the artistic movements such as Le Refus Global and Les plasticiens which were influential on Robert Leprohon.

The presentation of the artwork in the bright setting of ZS Art Galerie together with Curator Oberhollenzer’s introduction on Quebec was extremely well received and had a profound resonance with those present at the opening.
